About me
I’m Maissa (pronounced May-sa), a multimedia and concert composer with Syrian roots, based in Manchester. I grew up as a classically trained pianist and I have a deep love for Arabic and Greek folk music. Outside composing, I love to act, sing, paint, play the Darbuka, eat fruit, and occasionally using my perfect pitch to tell my friends what note their glasses make when it clinks together.
